While many attorneys handle criminal matters, not all do appellate work. Lars Robert Isaacson has considerable appellate experience, beginning in law school when he did a full semester judicial externship with the Hon. Diarmuid O’Scannlain, Circuit Judge, Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. After graduation, Mr. Isaacson clerked for the Hon. James S. Burns, Chief Judge of the Hawaii Intermediate Court of Appeals, (Hawaii’s second highest court.).

Mr. Isaacson is licensed in the following state courts: Hawaii (inactive), New Mexico (inactive) and Texas.  He is licensed in the following federal courts: District of Hawaii, District of New Mexico, Northern District of Texas and Eastern District of Texas. He is licensed to practice before the Fifth and Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. His license application to practice before the United States Supreme Court is pending.

Lars Robert Isaacson has numerous reported and unreported decisions in Texas and federal appellate courts. He has argued cases before Texas and Federal appellate courts, and has filed petitions for certiorari with the United States Supreme Court.
